Celebrating the Volunteers Who Make Our Mission Possible
At Seize the Moment Mission Outreach, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Their willingness to serve, give their time, and pour into the lives of others makes it possible for our mission to reach communities in need. This month, we are honored to highlight one of our dedicated leaders and volunteers, Terry-Lee Blackwood.
Terry-Lee serves as Vice President and Mission Trip Coordinator, playing a vital role in organizing and leading many of the outreach efforts that make our mission impactful. Her passion for missions began at just 16 years old, when she participated in her first mission trip. That experience ignited a lifelong commitment to serving others and sharing the love of Christ through action.
In her role with Seize the Moment Mission Outreach, Terry-Lee oversees the planning and coordination of mission trips from start to finish. From organizing logistics and preparing volunteers to managing on-site operations, she works tirelessly to ensure that each mission trip runs smoothly and fulfills its purpose of bringing help and hope to communities in need.
Terry-Lee’s leadership goes beyond organization and planning. She brings compassion, encouragement, and a deep faith to every mission. Volunteers often speak about the way she inspires others to step out in faith, serve with humility, and embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
With a degree in Business Administration, Terry-Lee combines strong leadership and organizational skills with a genuine heart for service. Her dedication helps create mission experiences that not only bless the communities being served but also transform the lives of those who volunteer.
